Were on a hunt for an experienced Line 1 Risk Manager to join our Daily Banking Tribe to support our Retail Bank.
As Risk Manager Daily Banking youll be the go-to expert for keeping INGs everyday banking products safe compliant and customer-focused. This isnt just about ticking boxes youll embed risk thinking into the heart of our agile Tribes working across Daily Banking Digital and Customer Interaction teams. From spotting operational risks in product lifecycles to designing smart controls and part of project deliveries youll make sure we stay ahead of regulatory obligations while delivering great customer outcomes. Youll lead risk reviews regulatory changes and partner with stakeholders to uplift risk maturity across the business. Think of it as a hands-on role where youll balance customer risk compliance and business with innovation influence decisions at all levels and help shape the future of banking all while thriving in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Our ideal candidate is a hands-on risk professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for making banking safer and smarter. Youll bring at least three years experience in risk or product-related roles ideally within retail banking and a solid understanding of Australias regulatory landscape think ASIC APRA AFCA. You know the first line of defence inside out and can design test and uplift controls with confidence. Agile ways of working arent new to you; you thrive in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat. Youre a natural communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels negotiate solutions and turn complex problems into practical outcomes. Above all youre curious proactive and obsessed with delivering positive customer experiences while keeping risk firmly in check.
