Job Summary

As Reservations Manager you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the performance of the Reservations team ensuring efficient operations revenue maximization and a seamless guest booking experience. You will play a key role in driving accuracy conversion and channel effectiveness while supporting the hotels overall revenue strategy. This role is critical during the pre-opening phase establishing strong processes systems and team capability from day one. You will work closely with Revenue Management Sales Front Office and other operational departments to ensure reservations integrity and guest satisfaction.

You will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead train coach and motivate the Reservations team to achieve performance and service excellence
  • Ensure all Reservations SOPs brand standards and policies are consistently adhered to
  • Monitor team performance accuracy productivity and conversion providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Oversee daily reservations operations to ensure a high level of accuracy in bookings and guest data
  • Review daily arrivals to ensure guest preferences special requests and profiles are properly communicated and fulfilled
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office and other departments to ensure guest expectations are managed and reservations are honored
  • Support Revenue Management in inventory control including allotments group blocks and rate code maintenance across all systems
  • Maximize revenue through effective upselling and cross-selling strategies
  • Ensure optimal utilization and performance of all distribution channels including IBE GDS Tour Operators Corporate channels and Regional Sales Offices
  • Monitor booking trends pickup patterns and channel performance highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to pre-opening system setup testing and process alignment

Qualifications :

  • College or Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Reservations and/or Rooms Division within a hotel environment
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems including PMS RMS and distribution channels
  • Solid understanding of revenue principles inventory management and distribution dynamics
  • Good knowledge of the local and regional market competitors and destination demand drivers
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented organized and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a 4 or 5-star (international hotel brand preferred)
  • Fluent in English Lao and Thai
  • Local Laos / Vientiane experience preferred
  • Southeast Asia market experience required
