This 3-year position play an essential role in leading the operations of the City Soil Farm and demonstration garden located at South Treatment Plant in Renton. City Soil Farm supports educational programming and community engagement and donates food to local food banks. This position will help grow WTDs equity and social justice outcomes by managing operations at our teaching farm that serves underrepresented communities.

This position works under the Education Team at City Soil Farm at South treatment Plant. The Education and Engagement team strives to engage communities and address the needs of priority communities that they identify for themselves in support of the Divisions mission to protect public health and water quality. Our group focuses on equity and social justice and makes this a priority in all our work.
