Job Title: Sr. Engagement Manager Sports & Entertainment Analytics
Location: NYC (Hybrid)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and business-savvy Sr. Engagement Manager to lead high-impact initiatives in the Sports & Entertainment industry. This individual will be responsible for managing client relationships uncovering new business opportunities and driving value through data-informed strategies and delivery oversight.
This is not a purely technical role - it requires a balance of strategic thinking client leadership sales enablement and data fluency to support the growth of our analytics consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic analytics and marketing engagements across Sports & Entertainment clients
- Act as the primary client contact developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts; partner with sales teams to drive revenue growth
- Translate business needs into actionable data-driven strategies; collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee delivery teams to ensure quality timeliness and alignment with client expectations
- Craft and deliver compelling presentations that communicate business value insights and ROI
- Stay informed on emerging trends in sports digital engagement and media analytics
Qualifications:
- 10 15 years of experience in consulting client services or strategic delivery roles
- Proven track record of owning and growing client accounts including sales renewals and pipeline development
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with C-level audiences
- Domain expertise in Sports & Entertainment with a deep understanding of the industrys data and engagement challenges
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and serve as the strategic bridge between clients and delivery
- Familiarity with analytics tools and workflows including hands-on or working knowledge of SQL Python Tableau Power BI or similar tools
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Economics Analytics or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer segmentation campaign measurement or digital engagement strategies
- Exposure to CRM platforms personalization tools and fan engagement systems
- Background in consulting firms media agencies or fast-growing sports tech companies
- Passion for sports entertainment and data-driven storytelling
