How Youll Shine
As a Porter you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assist guests with luggage including transporting bags to and from rooms safely and efficiently
- Support the Front Office team with guest arrivals departures and general concierge-style assistance
- Greeting and registering of owners and guests
- Assist with valet parking processes
- Providing information to local area attractions completion of all department related paperwork
- Using all communication equipment including telephones facsimiles and computers
What Youll Bring
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience within a similar hotel position is highly regarded
- Valid drivers licence
- Ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks in line with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
- Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum Fidelio Opera etc) advantageous
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends public and school holidays
- Genuine passion for customer service and the local area
- Strong interpersonal skills and immaculate presentation/professional grooming standards
