IMMEDIATE OPENING.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining records needed by the principal counselor and other building administrators of the Jr/Sr high school building. The candidate will also assist with the preparation for enrollment set up and maintain the student information system store grades prepare transcripts update and enter course data for KCCMS assist with year-end PowerSchool rollover and other duties as may be assigned.
A high school diploma is required. Prior experience as a high school secretary and experience with theSKYWARD QMLATIVaccounting system is preferred but not required. Experience with PowerSchool is highly preferred but training will be provided if needed. Must be an independent organized worker with ability to deal with parents students staff and patrons in a professional manner. Must be willing to cross-train within the JH/HS office staff.
This is a 10 month - 40 hour week KPERS covered position. Starting hourly rate is $13.50 (additional rate based on experience). Health and other insurances are available to the candidate. All insurances take effect the first of the month following hiring.
