This position is part of a unionized bargaining hourly wage for this position is starting at 16.60 which is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidates relevant knowledge skills education and prior experience a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role whether it is the starting wage or higher will be within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.

Shift: DAY EVENING WEEKEND

Our Produce team is fundamental to Metros overall success with a focus on always fresh in stock and up to standards. The Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of produce products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner. They are also involved in servicing Metros customers in a courteous friendly and efficient manner!
If you are interested in assisting customers and are passionate about the food industry the produce department is waiting for you!
General Qualifications
Customer service driven
Able to stock merchandise and create displays
Good product knowledge and attention to detail
Retail experience considered an asset
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
