Job Summary
Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Part-time (0.92 FTE) Teacher Assistant at Fox Creek School Fox Creek AB.
Successful candidate responsibilities:
- Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a classroom setting
Teach er Assistant s Qualifications :
- Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Early Childhood training and experience (desirable)
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children parents and staff
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
- Understand and carry out oral and written direction
- Work independently with minimal instruction
- Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
- Respect confidentiality
- Practice professionalism with all Fox Creek School students staff administration parents and public
- Be aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
Hours of Work:
- 30 hours per week/6 hours per day
Wage Rate:
- $20.15/hour - $28.40/hour depending on qualifications and experience
Effective Date s :
- 2026-2027 School Year
