Assistant Manager Central Administration Section Deans Office
The School of Business invites applications for a high-calibre individual to join the Deans Office in supporting school-wide tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide executive support in academic affairs and quality assurance;
- Serve as the person-in-charge for major School-level events such as Commencement Engagement activities School Retreat accreditation panel visits and various other events etc;
- Oversee personal data privacy matters to ensure compliance with University guidelines and relevant regulations;
- Manage School-wide committees including the School Board task forces committees and working groups with secretariat duties (e.g. agenda preparation minute-taking) and report writing;
- Handle general administration and School facilities management; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the School.
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelors degree or higher with at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience preferably in the tertiary education sector;
- Self-motivated with a can-do spirit and a strong sense of ownership;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organisational skills attention to detail and a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines; and
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) with high proficiency in IT applications.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
