Provide support to the Recreation Services Supervisor (Manager) for community outreach teen programs camps and special events.
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Coursework in education recreation sports management child psychology or related studies.
PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
Strong knowledge of recreation programming and the ability to multi-task. Communicate well verbally and in a written manner; knowledge of overall program policies and procedures; possess strong organizational and computer skills in Word Excel and Publisher. Possess excellent public relations skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization. Bilingual Preferred.
RATE OF PAY: Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Level I: Less than one (1) year experience in specialized skilled area.
Level II: Includes two (2) years of professional experience in public speaking community outreach and youth programming.
Level III: Includes three (3) years or more of professional experience specialized education & training in public speaking community outreach and youth programming.
Level I - $16.00-$18.00 (Paraprofessional)
Level II- $18.00-$22.00 (Paraprofessional)
Level III - $22.00 - $26.00 (Professional)
Valid Class C drivers license along with a copy of driving record.
