Position Overview
We are seeking a Policy Strategy & Oversight Coordinator to support the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) Operations team. E&M includes over 1400 employees responsible for maintaining fixed infrastructure such as Track Signals Communications Power Stations and Facilities.
This role provides critical administrative and on-site support for a semi-annual two-week employee safety and engagement training program along with additional support for safety-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Support the E&M Safety Series (ESS) a two-week full-shift training event for 1400 employees

Prepare schedules name tags feedback surveys and related materials

Set up and break down AV equipment (projectors screens microphones speakers)

Restock classroom and event materials
-
Create and manage Excel files to track attendance and feedback data
-
Provide directions and answer questions during training events
-
Schedule training sessions and coordinate instructor availability
-
Manage room reservations and Outlook calendar invites
-
Track participation and follow up with employees who miss sessions
-
Upload attendance records into the Learning Management System (LMS)

Support additional administrative tasks and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel Teams PowerPoint)

Experience with AV equipment setup and troubleshooting

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups

Ability to manage multiple tasks and take initiative

Organized reliable and detail-oriented
-
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in event coordination or event management

Familiarity with Microsoft Publisher mail merge and Learning Management Systems

Logistics coordination experience
