Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. This is a full-time position that will initially require onsite work with the potential for hybrid or remote arrangements based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines account management excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and flexible work environment.
Compensation Package
Base Salary:
- Hybrid: $70000$75000 annually (up to $75000 for highly qualified candidates)
Bonuses:
- Quarterly Bonus: Available for fully onsite employees
- Year-End Bonus: Available to all employees
- Average Annual Bonus Potential: Approximately $6000
Additional Incentives:
- PURE New Business (Inbound Leads): 40% one-time commission for accounts handled and closed by the Account Manager (eligibility criteria apply)
- Lost Data/Win-Back Accounts: Commission eligibility for successfully won-back accounts
- Staff Bonus Pool: Quarterly cash bonuses ranging from $500$1000 based on team success
- Holiday Bonus: Example payout of $2000 for non-producers
Benefits:
- Medical Insurance: Multiple plan options through BCBS with an estimated employee cost of $300$400/month for individual coverage
- 401(k): Currently under review (previously offered via Paychex no match)
- Work-From-Home Setup: Provided for weather illness or other circumstances
Responsibilities
- Manage and service personal lines accounts with professionalism and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their insurance needs are met
- Handle inbound leads and close new business opportunities
- Assist with win-back accounts by leveraging prior policy information and background details
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and contribute to a motivated and flexible work culture
- Stay updated on industry trends carrier products and software systems
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in Personal Lines Account Management (10 years preferred for fully remote consideration)
- Education:
- College degree preferred
- Professional designations are a plus
- Carrier Experience:
- Familiarity with any of the following carriers: Travelers Safeco Foremost Cincinnati Acuity NatGen Openly Nationwide CHUBB PURE
- Software Skills:
- TAM experience preferred (EPIC experience acceptable; TAM can be learned)
- Proven success in remote work (if applying for a remote position)
- Strong knowledge of insurance coverage procedures and processes
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references (preferably previous supervisors)
