Job Summary

Steel TMP Coordinator (4-10 Yrs Exp) - Contract

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized TMP Coordinator with 4 to 10 years of experience in the Steel industry to join our team on a contract basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth coordination and execution of Transport Management Plans contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop implement and manage Transport Management Plans (TMPs) within the steel industry.
Coordinate all aspects of transportation logistics ensuring efficient and timely movement of materials and personnel.
Liaise with internal teams external stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with TMP requirements.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on TMP activities including progress challenges and outcomes.
Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
Ensure all safety and environmental regulations related to transportation are strictly adhered to.
Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the transportation process.
Collaborate with project managers to integrate TMP requirements into overall project planning.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a coordinating role preferably within the Steel industry.
Proven experience in developing and managing Transport Management Plans (TMPs).
Strong understanding of logistical operations and transportation management principles.
Proficiency in report making and data analysis.
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively to meet project deadlines.
Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Any relevant educational background will be considered.
