At CGI we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join an international team.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role for 2-4 years
- Experience working with industry software such as PeopleSoft Hyperion (Oracle) would be considered valuable assets
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information both structured and unstructured
- Bachelors Degree (BCOMM) in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting Designation (CPA) completed or in progress - preference will be given to candidates who have completed their CPA designation
- Advanced skills with MS Office tools including Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent in verbal written and communication skills in English
- Action oriented proactive with high level of accountability for delivering quality work
Key Responsabilities:
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of the financial and operating results for both reporting and forecasting purposes
- Prepare annual quarterly and monthly forecast for assigned client groups
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Deliver accurate insightful and timely analysis of financial results against plans forecast and budget
- Participate in the design development and implementation of performance management tools
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve accuracy and drive efficiency
- Complete ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary
- Manage multiple deadlines demonstrating the ability to prioritize and a high level attention to detail
- Gather and verify financial information with a proactive attitude
- Participate in other projects as necessary
Desirable:
- Excellent in verbal written and communication skills in French
