Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Construction Manager to join our team in Ahmedabad India. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans including schedules budgets and resource allocation
• Collaborate with architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met and deadlines are achieved
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress safety compliance and quality control
• Manage and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks effectively
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion
• Oversee the procurement of materials equipment and services ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
• Lead and mentor project teams fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders including senior management and clients
• Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and safety standards in Ahmedabad
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control programs throughout the construction process
• Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise during the construction process making decisive and analytical decisions
• Stay updated on industry trends innovative construction methods and sustainable practices to improve project efficiency and outcomes

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field; Masters degree preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in a senior management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial construction projects
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies building codes and regulations specific to Ahmedabad India
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse project teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
• Proficiency in construction project management software Microsoft Office suite and other relevant tools
• Solid understanding of construction contracts financial management and cost control techniques
• Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project oversight
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is highly desirable
