Job Summary

USTs DevOps Practice is seeking a highly experienced DevOps & SRE Technical Program Manager with strong GitHub Enterprise CI/CD expertise to lead large-scale enterprise DevOps SRE and GitHub transformation initiatives.

This role combines program leadership deep hands-on DevOps & SRE expertise and GitHub Enterprise CI/CD ownership including migrations automation governance and modernization. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end execution of complex transformation programs while mentoring teams and partnering with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

Lead large-scale DevOps SRE and GitHub Enterprise transformation programs for enterprise clients
Own program planning execution risk management budgets financials and margins
Partner with senior stakeholders to define roadmaps milestones KPIs SLAs and success metrics
Monitor program health delivery quality cost optimization and corrective actions
Drive continuous improvement automation and operational excellence

DevOps SRE & CI/CD Engineering

Design implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Bamboo GitHub Actions
Lead GitHub Enterprise administration governance and migration initiatives
Implement SRE best practices: SLIs/SLOs observability incident management reliability engineering
Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools across cloud and on-prem environments
Optimize build test deploy workflows integrating quality security and automation tools

GitHub Enterprise & DevSecOps

Oversee GitHub repository analysis migration planning execution and modernization
Define branching strategies workflows governance and access controls
Integrate CI/CD with testing security quality artifact and monitoring tools
Support DevSecOps KPIs (change failure rate escape defects regression lead time)
Ensure security compliance and audit readiness within pipelines

Team & Stakeholder Management

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps Engineers (A1/A2 levels)
Guide teams on design code reviews troubleshooting and complex issue resolution
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Engineering QA Product Architecture and Leadership
Prepare and deliver status reports dashboards SOPs and training plans

AI & Automation (Added Advantage)

Design and deploy agentic AI solutions for automation and operational efficiency
Build AI agents using Lang Chain AutoGPT OpenAI functions or similar frameworks
Integrate AI agents with DevOps tools APIs and enterprise systems

Must-Have Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable)

15 years of overall IT experience
5 years leading DevOps transformation programs
5 years hands-on experience with DevOps principles
5 years hands-on experience with SRE practices
5 years experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
3 years experience with GitHub migration & GitHub Enterprise administration
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban)
Hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD: Jenkins Bamboo GitHub Actions
- Scripting: Python Shell PowerShell Groovy
- Infrastructure Automation: Ansible Puppet Chef
- Containers: Docker Kubernetes
- Artifact Repositories: Nexus Artifactory
- Build Tools: Maven Ant
- Monitoring/Dashboards: ELK Splunk
- Cloud Platforms: AWS Azure GCP
Strong stakeholder management communication and leadership skills
Notice Period: 0 15 days only

Nice-to-Have Skills

AI/Agentic automation experience in DevOps workflows
Azure DevOps ARM DSC exposure
Strong debugging skills in C#/.NET
GitHub Certified Administrator or similar certifications

Preferred Certifications

Cloud or DevOps certifications
