Were looking for a skilled Injury Prevention Coordinator to join our team at our client site in Portland Maine!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Key Accountabilities

• Conducts employee injury prevention programs education and training.

• Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.

• Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment incident investigation and care management.

• Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process manages and reports data for their assigned plant.

• Develop promote and market wellness and general education programs.

• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Associates Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology Kinesiology Athletic Training Exercise Science or a related field or licensed/certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state you are working.

• 2 years experience in health and fitness.

• Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.

• First Aid certification from American Heart Association American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred.

• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.

• Demonstrated skill in program development implementation marketing and promotion.

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

• Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider a plus.

• Understanding of Biomechanics Occupational Safety and experience working in a clinical environment (occupational therapy physical therapy cardiac rehab nursing).

• Ability to travel to 3 different locations in the area twice per month.
