Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
In collaboration with clients employee healthcare team develops coordinates and evaluates programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries physical conditioning and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment.
Key Accountabilities
Conducts employee injury prevention programs education and training.
Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment incident investigation and care management.
Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process manages and reports data for their assigned plant.
Develop promote and market wellness and general education programs.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Associates Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology Kinesiology Athletic Training Exercise Science or a related field or licensed/certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state you are working.
2 years experience in health and fitness.
Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
First Aid certification from American Heart Association American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
Demonstrated skill in program development implementation marketing and promotion.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider a plus.
Understanding of Biomechanics Occupational Safety and experience working in a clinical environment (occupational therapy physical therapy cardiac rehab nursing).
Ability to travel to 3 different locations in the area twice per month.
Compensation: $63000/Year - $70000/Year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Join our team and you may be eligible for a $1000 sign on bonus!
