Shift: 12-hour Night Shift
Schedule: 3 shifts per week
Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift Time: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Position Summary

The Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs. This role requires a minimum of two (2) years of recent psychiatric nursing experience and emphasizes collaborative team-based care. The RN works closely with physicians social workers and the interdisciplinary care team to support treatment planning patient safety and discharge coordination.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience
Experience working in team nursing models
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe therapeutic and evidence-based nursing care to psychiatric patients
Participate in team nursing and interdisciplinary team meetings with physicians
Collaborate closely with social workers for discharge planning and coordination
Accurately document assessments care plans and interventions in EPIC
Administer medications utilizing Omnicell medication dispensing system
Monitor patient behavior mental status and response to treatment
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
Communicate effectively with patients families and care team members

Skills & Qualifications

Strong psychiatric assessment and crisis intervention skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
