Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Manager Childrens Home

Location: Warrington
Salary: Up to 64000 per year (inclusive of bonuses)
Working Hours: Full-Time
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs aged 817 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Qualifications Required:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)

Experience in Years Required:

  • Minimum 3 years management experience in residential childcare

  • Must have experience managing an EBD setting

Employment Type: Permanent

The Home:

  • Number of Beds: 3 (Newly Opening Home)

  • Location: Warrington

  • Type of YPs: EBD

  • Ofsted Rating: New Registration Aiming for Good / Outstanding

  • Ratio of staff to children: High staff-to-child ratio

Salary & Bonus Breakdown:

  • Base Salary: Up to 55000
    (Dependent on holding Level 5 qualification & 3 years management experience)

  • Referral / Occupancy Bonus:

    • Up to 6000 for homes with fewer than 3 beds

  • Ofsted Bonus:

    • 3000 for Outstanding

    • 1500 for Good

Total earning potential: Up to 64000 per annum

We are seeking a confident and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new EBD childrens home through registration and beyond.

You will be:

  • Experienced in managing Ofsted-registered EBD homes

  • Strong in trauma-informed and attachment-based practice

  • Capable of leading mentoring and developing a stable staff team

  • Knowledgeable in meeting Ofsted Fit Person requirements

  • Resilient emotionally intelligent and child-focused
