We are looking for a Senior Controller to join our Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support closing activities and operations;
- Monthly analysis of costs allocated to different cost centers;
- Mapping of accounts to Profit & Loss statements;
- Strong understanding of the business;
- Preparation of management reports for various stakeholders (Executive Board business areas support areas among others) to support decision-making;
- Analysis of variances and budgetary control;
- Ensure regular communication with business units and support areas;
- Optimization of tools used for financial reporting and analysis;
- Reconciliation between accounting figures and business unit data highlighting major variances;
- Creation and posting of statistical orders and statistical indexes;
- Support the design and implementation of new processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Economics Management Management Information Systems Accounting or a similar field.
- 8 up to 10 years of professional experience in controlling auditing or financial areas;
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred) with SAP COPA module considered a plus;
- Basic knowledge of accounting;
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
- English proficiency at an independent user level;
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week at the Lisbon office).
