Job Summary
For complex infrastructure projects in the Aviation sector in Portugal we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in the construction or modernization of passenger terminals and airport infrastructure.
In this key role you will take on the strategic leadership of complex construction projectsfrom planning to successful handover.
Your Responsibilities:
- Holistic project management of construction projects in the field of passenger terminals and airport infrastructure
- Responsibility for planning budgeting scheduling and resource management
- Leading interdisciplinary teams (architects engineers contractors specialist planners)
- Ensuring compliance with safety environmental and legal standards
- Communication with authorities airport operators and other stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress and initiating corrective actions
- Ensuring timely budget-compliant and quality-assured project delivery
Qualifications :
- 7 - 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects in airport infrastructure
- Solid knowledge of construction and design of passenger terminals and airport infrastructure
- Degree in civil engineering architecture project management or a comparable field
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is an advantage
- Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent Portuguese and English required; additional languages are a plus
