The Opportunity:

Were looking for an experienced Project Manager(5 years relevant New Zealand-based experience) to join our close-knit Tauranga this role youllcontribute to andlead the successful delivery ofour building andinfrastructure projects build strong client relationships and ensure outcomes meet expectations. Youll also have a clear pathway for growth including opportunities to mentor junior team members and develop leadership skills for future responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team managing the delivery of projects to fully satisfy client needs and expectations alongside our internal processes.
  • Lead andmanage day-to-day project requirements with Senior oversight as required through clear direction strong verbal and written communication chairing and minuting regular meetings encouraging and supporting the team to achieve deliverables.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships understanding their objectives.
  • Identify manage and mitigate project risks to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior team members where applicable.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams contractors and consultants.
  • Contribute to project planning procurement and contract administration in line with NZ standards and local authority processes.
  • Support business development through client meetings proposals and tenders.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety obligations and company policies.

About You:

To succeed in this role you will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering projects across design procurement and contract management phases (vertical or horizontal).
  • Strong project management skills including planning risk management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge and application of NZS3910/3916 contracts.
  • Consultancy and client-side project management experience (highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication skillsclear concise and adaptable to different audiences.
  • Professional approach strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset with a desire to mentor and grow into leadership.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
