Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead performance in a busy transport and logistics operation. This is a handson role where strong leadership sound judgement and a focus on safety and service are critical.

Youll be joining a well-established New Zealand transport and logistics provider with a strong reputation for moving freight safely and reliably across the country. The business supports a wide range of customers with endtoend supply chain services combining freight transport warehousing and delivery solutions with modern systems and experienced teams

What youll do

Lead daytoday operations
Set and maintain clear standards for safety service and performance
Coach and develop operational leaders and frontline teams
Manage cost productivity and service outcomes
Work with customer and commercial teams to meet commitments
Improve systems and processes to lift efficiency and reliability

What were looking for

Operations leadership experience in transport logistics or a related environment
Practical peoplefocused leader with strong accountability
Good operational and commercial judgement
Full New Zealand Drivers Licence (Class 24)
Available MondayFriday from 7am
Able to work occasional weekends during peak periods (from November)
Physically able to lift over 25kg
Able to pass a negative drug test and Ministry of Justice background checks
