Position Title: Sterile Supply Technician
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM (Evenings; weekends and holidays rotating based on department needs)
Pay Rate: $26 $30/hour

Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Sterile Supply Technician to join our team. The Sterile Supply Technician is responsible for the safe and effective decontamination assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays used in the Operating Room and other clinical areas. This role ensures compliance with aseptic techniques quality standards and timely support for urgent clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Decontaminate disinfect clean assemble and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
Operate and monitor sterilization equipment including steam Steris and Sterrad
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of instrument processing
Assemble both complex and simple surgical sets
Document and monitor sterilization and decontamination processes
Respond promptly to urgent and emergent requests from clinical staff
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards

Qualifications:

Certification as a Central Service Technician OR
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility
Successful completion of a nationally accredited Central Service Technician exam (highly desired)
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Skills & Experience:

Minimum one (1) year experience in sterile processing (required)
