Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and monitoring the overall implementation progress of the smart maintenance initiatives and co-ordinating with stakeholders to ensure the proper operations and maintenance readiness of new asset development projects including the Integrated Wheelset Maintenance Centre
- Lead technical teams to perform the maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards / schedule for providing safe reliable and effective train service in order to meet operational objectives
- Support various Rolling Stock Workshops in transforming the maintenance workflow and workshop layout to facilitate the application of new technologies for realising the smart maintenance vision
- Responsible for overall in-charge of the maintenance team planning and organizing daily maintenance activities contractors management implementation schedule resource planning and funding arrangement for the maintenance tasks
- Support development review and revision of RSMD maintenance work instructions and procedures to ensure the overall integrity
Requirements
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline
A minimum of 6 years relevant experience of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
- Self-motivated with good analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills and able to work independently
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
Remarks
- Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered
- Business travel to Mainland China and overseas is required
