Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-service check before operating the light rail

  • Operate the light rail in accordance with timetables to provide high quality customer services

  • Coordinate with the Operations Control Centre to handle train defects or incidents to ensure safe and reliable train operations

Requirements

  • Grade E / Level 2 / Attained or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE including English Language
  • Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is an advantage
  • Customer-centric mindset effective and empathetic communication skills and the ability to handle incidents independently

Remarks

  • Required to perform shift duties on irregular patterns of hours with an estimated average monthly income of HK$22700 (including the shift duty related allowance* laundry allowance 13th month pay and annual discretionary award)

  • Reporting for duty during adverse weather will be eligible for related allowances

  • The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12000 subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme
