Executive Officer in Research Services of the Registry (Ref.: 533986) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good Bachelors degree with at least 2 years work experience preferably in tertiary education institutions or other public organisations. They should also be able to work independently have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) good organisational and interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
The appointee will provide support for research grant administration and assist with the proposal vetting and post-award management. He / She will be responsible for inputting data maintaining the database of the research grant / award system compiling reports supporting ad-hoc events / projects and performing other duties as assigned. Experience in research administration at tertiary institutions would be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
