Job Summary

The Adult Safeguarding Team is seeking an experienced Social Worker who is motivated and passionate about working with adults often in challenging situations. The Social Work Team is part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary assessment service that includes Social Workers Occupational Therapists Occupational Therapy Assistants and Surveyors collaborating with local health trust colleagues to meet the holistic needs of our service users.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and meet the needs of service users.
- Apply principles of professionalism ambition accountability dignity respect and empathy in service delivery.
- Utilize a strength-based collaborative approach to support service users.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance including the Care Act Mental Health Act Mental Capacity Act Human Rights Act and Equality Act.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Worker particularly in adult safeguarding.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and the ability to apply it in practice.
- Ability to work effectively in challenging circumstances.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
