Job Summary

We are working closely with Birmingham Childrens Trust to assist with the appointment of a Qualified Social Worker on a 3-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 20.04 - 27.55 per hour

Summary:

An opportunity for a Social Worker to support children with disabilities and their families ensuring their safety wellbeing and development. The role involves managing a caseload completing assessments and working closely with families and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children and young people
Carry out assessments and develop care/support plans
Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing
Work with families carers and multi-agency partners
Attend and contribute to meetings reviews and case planning

Qualifications:

Social Work degree (or equivalent)

Essential Requirements:

Degree in Social Work and completion of ASYE
Registration with Social Work England (SWE)
Experience working with children and families
Strong assessment communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
