Position: Assistant Project Manager We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of Building Envelope Architecture and Engineering projects from conception through final payment. This role involves coordinating project scope pricing scheduling documentation and communication across internal teams subcontractors and clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented skilled in project coordination and motivated to grow within a dynamic project management environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in managing the scoping pricing scheduling and delivery of assigned projects.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g. Ajera) to forecast workloads develop timelines and coordinate staffing needs.
- Schedule internal and client meetings including milestone reviews and status updates.
- Conduct profitability analysis and support strategies to ensure project financial goals are met.
- Identify solicit and manage subcontractors or subconsultants as needed.
- Generate monthly milestone and final invoices; coordinate with Finance for reporting and delivery.
- Prepare and deliver required project status and manpower reports to clients.
- Lead or support project meetings document discussions and track action items.
- Provide assignments and direction to project personnel to support timely and accurate project execution.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders to address concerns and ensure successful project outcomes.
Job Requirements: - Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely climb ladders scaffolds or stairs as needed for site visits.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors including exposure to varying weather conditions and construction environments.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Pre-employment drug test background check and valid drivers license required.
