Nobu Restaurant Host
Crafting exceptional welcomes and seamless dining experiences
As a Nobu Restaurant Host at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square youll be the first point of contact for our guests setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. With a focus on precision warmth and Nobus signature hospitality youll manage reservations coordinate seating and ensure every guest feels valued from arrival to departure.
You will
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Review reservations for each shift noting VIP and high-profile guests
- Ensure waiter notes and table plans are accurate and updated throughout service
- Prepare and distribute floor plans after briefings to maintain clarity and consistency
- Check table setups and ensure all areas meet Nobu standards
- Provide attentive friendly and personalised service to every guest
- Support and train new team members fostering a collaborative environment
- Maintain entrance and lobby presentation to reflect Nobus luxury standards
- Attend team briefings and contribute ideas for service improvement
- Liaise effectively with all departments to ensure smooth operations
- Demonstrate a proactive positive approach to work and guest care
- Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family Crafted Smile and Kokoro
- Perform any other duties as required
What Were Looking For
You bring experience in a guest-facing role ideally within a luxury hospitality or fine dining environment. Youre confident organised and thrive in a fast-paced setting where every detail matters. With strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality youll ensure every guests journey begins flawlessly.
