Examples of what youll do

• Work closely with Coaching Staff with effective practice planning and competitive coaching situations.

• Effectively teach mentor and coach to develop well-rounded student-athletes and contribute to and enhance a nationally competitive athletic experience.

• Identify and help successfully recruit and retain academically qualified and athletically talented student athletes.

• Manage recruiting activities for assigned prospects and assist with official and unofficial visits.

• Establish and maintain effective interactions with students colleagues university staff and administrators alumni media and the public.

• Adhere to University Conference and NCAA policies procedures and regulations.

Candidates require a high level of football knowledge in relation to the skills techniques talent evaluation and breakdown of tendencies strategies and play calling. Requires strong motivational teaching/coaching and communication skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Position will work many non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends and requires the ability to travel overnight.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree.
Experience coaching analyst or competing in football at a highly competitive level (post high school).

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful NCAADI or professional football coaching experience.

Successful NCAA DI or professional football playing experience.

Knowledge and expertise analyzing specific field positions identified by the head coach.
