Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
Pay: $17 per hour
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Assist with implementing TLEs play-based curriculum including early language social-emotional learning and motor-skill development.
- Help guide positive behavior and encourage peer interaction.
- Participate in daily routines: meals/snacks diapering/toileting transitions and rest time.
- Keep the classroom clean organized and engaging.
- Communicate positively with families and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
- 6 months of experience working with children in a daycare preschool or childcare setting (1 year preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus (or willingness to pursue).
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR/First Aid preferred.
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
