Job Title: Personal Assistant

Thesalonhype is a high-end salon that offers a wide range of beauty services including hair styling makeup and nail care. Our salon is known for its luxurious atmosphere top-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a full-time Personal Assistant to join our team and support our busy salon operations.
Job Summary:
As a Personal Assistant at Thesalonhype you will be responsible for providing administrative and personal support to the salon owner and management team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the salon as well as providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the salon owners calendar and schedule appointments
- Coordinate and schedule meetings conferences and events
- Act as a liaison between the salon owner and other staff members
- Screen and respond to emails phone calls and other forms of communication
- Prepare and edit documents presentations and reports
- Handle travel arrangements and accommodations for the salon owner
- Assist with managing the salons budget and expenses
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Greet and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle client inquiries and complaints and escalate to management when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the salon owner
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Previous experience in the beauty industry is a plus
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with the standard work hours being Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. However occasional evening and weekend work may be required for special events or meetings. The Personal Assistant will primarily work in an office setting but may also be required to assist with tasks in the salon.
