Job Summary

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent; college credits with office skills training or equivalent business school training preferred.

2. Minimum of three (3) years of administrative secretarial experience; experience in public education settings preferred.

3. Knowledge of school district organization operations and administrative policies procedures and business practices.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook) required; Google Suite (Docs Sheets Slides Forms Classroom) Adobe Finance Plus and eSchool Plus experience preferred.

5. Effective verbal (receptive and expressive) and written communication skills detail-oriented and ability to problem solve a wide variety of complex and confidential matters.

6. Ability to prioritize organize multi-task numerous complex administrative activities and manage time with minimal supervision.

7. Ability to work with frequent interruptions; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 days

SALARY/PAYGRADE:

$39742 CP6

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2025-2026

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Prepare correspondence forms schedules contracts and reports for the Director of Community Programs.

2. Manage the Community Programs department calendar and scheduling of events/meetings.

3. Manage the social media sites for the department.

4. Manage the email accounts for the Community Programs department as assigned.

5. Maintain physical and electronic department files.

6. Assist with quotes and purchase orders for department purchases.

7. Assist Community Programs employees with questions regarding policies and practices.

8. Answer and respond to incoming calls take reliable messages and route to appropriate staff; assist directly with routine inquiries.

9. Must be able to meet department and district deadlines.
