Job Summary

About you:

We are currently searching for our newest team members to join our Short Term Accommodation team in Rossmore NSW as an Enhanced Practice Leader.

You will possess:

  • Knowledge and capability to deliver contemporary and innovative services in the disability sector gained through applicable experience training education and experience.
  • Extensive practical experience providing support to people with a variety of disabilities
  • Ability to engage with motivate train and mentor teams to ensure delivery of high-quality supports.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills including the ability to undertake reporting consultation mediation and produce correspondence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and mutually beneficial internal and external relationships
  • Problem solving consultation and negotiation skills.
  • An empathetic and friendly approach that supports families and carers as well as the people we support
  • High level organisational skills and an attention to detail
  • Ability to think on your feet and work under pressure

What is essential

  • Relevant industry qualification recognised by Possability and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of leading and supervising a team to achieve required strategic and operational outcomes
  • An understanding of relevant NDIA legislation and funding models
