Director of FP&A Construction
Location: Nashville TN (Onsite near airport) - Relocation Available

Compensation: $170K $185K base bonus

Position OverviewThe Director of FP&A is a key member of the corporate finance leadership team and the primary source of financial insight and planning discipline. This role leads the enterprise FP&A function driving forecasting analytics and strategic decision support across all divisions. The Director partners closely with divisional CFOs operational leaders and the executive team to support growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & LeadershipLead the annual operating plan long-range forecast and strategic financial models.
Consolidate divisional forecasts into a clear corporate financial outlook.
Partner with divisional CFOs and operations to assess project performance pricing and cost structures.
Provide scenario analyses to guide capital allocation and strategic initiatives.
Prepare high-quality presentations for the Board PE sponsor and lenders.
Translate complex financial data into clear concise insights.
Build scalable FP&A processes tools dashboards and reporting frameworks.
Enhance integration of ERP data warehouse and BI platforms.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and key partner to senior leadership.
Mentor and develop FP&A talent; promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field required; MBA/CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
10 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience ideally in PE (private equitey) - backed multi-division construction infrastructure or industrial services.
Experience leading FP&A in high-growth acquisitive environments with complex capital structures.
Strong track record preparing board and investor materials.
Expert financial modeling forecasting and analytical ability.
Strong operational understanding within construction or field-based services.
Ability to influence senior leaders in a decentralized environment.
Advanced Excel BI tools (Power BI Tableau); ERP/consolidation experience preferred.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
High integrity sound judgment and a proactive execution-oriented mindset.
