We are searching for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team as we accelerate our growth journey. This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is servicing the medical industry in providing laboratory automation products that make a difference in the world.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Be a champion for all quality control processes
Inspection of incoming and outgoing products to meet with Quality and Engineering standards
Resolving quality issues as identified by our manufacturing team
In conjunction with the Quality Manager maintain key functions of the Quality system including the disposition of non-conformances
Liaising with Suppliers on any non-conformance issues
Working with the Quality Manager to review customer defect claims
Undertake internal audits
Review and maintain production documentation.
WHAT YOULL BRING:
Ideally a minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in a similar quality role
Engineering trade background or strong production experience
Experience with the following manufacturing processes: metal machining sheet metal forming metal casting plastic moulding and forming
A comprehensive knowledge of GD&T and metrology techniques would be an advantage
Experience with the use of measuring equipment and able to read and comprehend engineering drawings and documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
Capable of being able to multi-task with an eye for the detail
Ability to work individually or as a team to consistently deliver results
Willing to travel domestically and internationally
Working knowledge of a Quality Management System ie: ISO9001 ISO13485 TS16949
Exposure to lean manufacturing and/or continuous process improvement concepts
Experience with cable manufacturing PCBs and electronics would be highly valued
Experience using Oracle Cloud Agile PLM is an advantage.
