Job Summary
The AVP in Insurance Claims is a senior leadership position responsible for strategic oversight and operational management of claims processes across multiple lines of business (e.g. property casualty general liability workers compensation). This role ensures efficient fair and compliant claims handling while driving performance customer satisfaction and cost ManagementLead and mentor claims managers and adjusters fostering a culture of accountability and continuous talent development succession planning and performance ExcellenceEnsure adherence to service standards best practices and compliance with legal/regulatory vendor relationships (TPAs defense counsel) and ensure timely cost-effective reserve adequacy and financial reporting for EngagementCollaborate with underwriting actuarial finance and risk management teams to align claims strategy with business effectively with brokers clients and internal leadership on high-profile or complex & AnalyticsUtilize data analysis to identify trends improve processes and enhance and present reports on claims performance litigation outcomes and financial Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree (Law Insurance Risk Management preferred); JD or CPCU designation is a : 10 years in insurance claims with at least 5 years in a leadership Expertise:Deep knowledge of policy forms coverage interpretation liability assessment and litigation with regulatory compliance and reserving Competencies:Strong decision-making negotiation and conflict resolution to lead through change and manage complex stakeholder :High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive in claims systems and data analytics tools.
