Minimum Salary: $14.38 Hourly
Description:
Assists with maintenance of buildings and grounds for a state park district. Duties will include but are not limited to mowing weed whipping painting/staining planting/watering trees and assisting with projects. Includes operating equipment such as commercial riding mowers tractors skid steer UTVs vehicles and a variety of tools. Other duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
Ability to work independently or with others manage time well and work in a variety of weather conditions outdoors. Uniforms shirts are provided and employees must comply with uniform dress code. Valid drivers license required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of how to operate commercial size mowers tractors and skid steers. Ability to learn how to operate a UTV golf cart and vehicle. Ability to learn groundskeeping tasks and operate hand and power tools. Skills to work with the public in a professional manner.
