A critical access hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join its healthcare team as a Prescription Refill this role you will ensure the safe accurate and timely renewal of prescription medications while providing exceptional support to both patients and providers. The ideal candidate is organized proactive and experienced in clinical communication and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process prescription refill requests thoroughly and accurately.
- Verify patient information and medication details to ensure compliance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with prescribing providers to confirm or adjust medication orders.
- Document all refill activities in the EMR.
- Process medication prior authorizations navigating insurance requirements.
- Efficiently manage medication denial and appeal processes.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments.
Qualifications
- An ASN is required.
- Active RN license
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience is preferred.
