Job Summary

Travel RN ICU (Nights)

Job Description (ICU RN Nights)

Provide direct high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
Perform continuous monitoring of vital signs cardiac rhythms neurological status and hemodynamics.
Administer medications IV drips blood products and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Operate and manage advanced ICU equipment including ventilators cardiac monitors and infusion pumps.
Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations and life-saving interventions.
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
Provide care and monitoring for patients with invasive lines such as central lines and arterial lines.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Educate and support patients and families with clear communication and compassion.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies patient safety standards infection control and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Active California RN License
ACLS (Required)
BLS (Required)
MAB (Required)
NIH Stroke Certification (Required)
