Job Summary
A great opportunity exists for a Food & Beverage Supervisorat one of the citys most iconic hotels Royal on the Park Hotel. Located in the CBD opposite the stunning Botanic Gardens few hotels in Brisbane can boast the rich history that comes with Royal on the Park and The Walnut Restaurant. Food & Beverage plays an important part in our day-to-day operations - including large-scale events in our Sir Charles Kingsford Smith Ballroom elegant weddings intimate dinners in the Walnut Restaurant meetings and conferences in our numerous function rooms and a 24/7 food and beverage service for our in-house guests.
About the role
- Provide efficient friendly and professional service to support Food and Beverage operations
- Identify and ensure guest needs wants and expectations are met across both the food and beverage spaces
- Communicate effectively with all departments including Kitchen and Front Office to ensure a positive guest experience
- Assist across all services when required including Bar in-room dining and restaurant
- Lead train and motivate staff to provide exceptional Customer service.
- Manage inventory and stock control
- Supervise staff on each shift providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
About you
- 1-2 years experience in a Food and Beverage supervisory role preferred.
- A strong commitment to customer service leadership and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and a strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is a must.
