Job Description:
Role Objective
- To identify approach and secure jobwork orders from apparel brands wholesalers and retailers ensuring continuous production load and profitability for the garment manufacturing unit. The role bridges marketing client relationship costing and production coordination.
- Experience: 25 years in garment jobwork marketing merchandising or apparel B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Networking
- Identify and target potential brands labels and buyers seeking apparel manufacturing or jobwork partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across menswear womenswear kidswear uniforms and hospitality segments.
- Visit brands attend expos and maintain a continuous pipeline of potential jobwork clients.
2. Business Development
- Present factory capabilities capacity (machines sampling stitching finishing etc.) and cost advantages to clients.
- Prepare and send quotations cost sheets and production proposals as per client requirements.
- Negotiate jobwork rates and timelines ensuring profitability and feasibility.
3. Coordination with Production
- Communicate confirmed orders to the production team with technical details timelines and quality parameters.
- Coordinate with sampling stitching QC and finishing departments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor jobwork order status and share weekly client-wise production updates.
- 4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain client master data: brand contact details article order qty and pricing.
- Track inquiries quotations conversions and monthly jobwork sales reports.
- Prepare MIS reports for management lead status confirmed orders repeat clients and revenue.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate / MBA preferred (Marketing Fashion Management or Textile background ideal).
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Understanding of garment production process
- Costing & quotation preparation
- Client relationship management
- Basic Excel / CRM / ERP knowledge
