Our client is a leading Agro-Allied Company located in Agbara Ogun State.
The Company is seeking to hire a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with proven experience in sales and grant writing.
The ideal candidate will identify growth opportunities manage strategic partnerships and support revenue expansion through grants export markets and agricultural value-chain initiative.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and source local and international grant opportunities donor funding and development programs.
Lead grant proposal writing budgeting submission and compliance reporting.
Liaise with donors and development partners to ensure alignment and funding continuity.
Drive sales growth by identifying prospecting and converting new customers and markets for agricultural and export products.
Develop and execute sales strategies pricing models and revenue plans aligned with company objectives.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation closing and post-sales relationship management.
Maintain strong relationships with key clients distributors exporters and institutional buyers.
Prepare and present sales proposals quotations and contracts.
Track sales performance forecasts and pipeline using reports and dashboards.
Support farming and agribusiness initiatives including value-chain development aggregation processing and distribution.
Work closely with farmers cooperatives and production teams to align output with market and sales demand.
Identify opportunities for product improvement value addition and market expansion.
Prepare regular sales business development and grant performance reports for management.
Collaborate with finance operations and production teams to ensure efficient execution of sales and projects.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Agriculture or in any related field.
3 years experience as a business development executive with exposure to grants export trade and agriculture preferrably in an NGO or Agribusiness.
Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Strong experience in grant writing donor engagement and reporting.
Sound communication skills both written and oral.
Good knowledge of export processes documentation and international trade compliance.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint); CRM experience is an advantage.
