Job Summary

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making. This role partners closely with the business leaders within the Disability & Aged Care Services division to understand challenges identify opportunities and provide insights-enabled recommendations. The Senior Data Analyst also plays a key role in enhancing divisional data quality delivering visualisations/reporting and streamlining reporting processes.  

  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends patterns and opportunities for Disability & Aged Care Services Division.
  • Deliver insights and actionable recommendations that support business performance productivity outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for the division.
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and timeliness.
  • Ensure data visualisations follow best practice and communicate insights clearly to business users.
  • Partner with business leaders within the Disability and Aged Care Services Division to understand data needs and translate them to reporting/analytical requirements.
  • Conduct data profiling validation and data quality assurance tasks. Ensure datasets meet defined quality metrics for completeness accuracy consistency and timeliness maintaining data integrity throughout the analytics pipeline.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or analytical roles.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong SQL and PowerBI skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable understanding of machine learning concepts experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
