About the Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role for a senior family lawyer who can hit the ground running bring structure and take ownership of both legal and commercial outcomes. You will lead the Family Law practice while working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure operational excellence financial performance and alignment with the groups values-driven approach.
You will manage complex family law matters (both private and legally aided) mentor and develop a growing legal team and play a key role in shaping the future direction reputation and growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a Family Law practice with complementary exposure to Commercial matters
- Manage complex private and legally-aided family law matters end-to-end
- Head mentor and develop a high-performing legal team

- Maintain strong risk management compliance and governance standards

About You:
- Senior Family Lawyer with proven leadership capability
- On the Victorian Legal Aid (VLA) Family Law Panel or demonstrably able to obtain panel membership
- Nationally Accredited Mediator (or equivalent) highly regarded
- Confident litigator with strong advocacy and dispute resolution skills
- Proven ability to manage a profitable practice and meet financial targets
- Commercially minded with experience or interest in intersecting family law business trusts property and structures
- Portable practice or ability to bring files is highly regarded
- Respected mentor with a collaborative modern leadership style
