About the role

This is a great opportunity to join the Global Supply Planning team in a key role to help drive supplier performance and improve product availability on some truly exciting brands.

About the opportunity

Leading a team of 6 Supply Planners you will be responsible for driving supplier performance from our 3rd party manufacturing network and applying best practice planning techniques to maximise finished goods material availability. You will own the inventory in our Global Distribution Centre and manage it effectively in order to minimise excess and obsolescence.

We are continually launching new innovative products and you and your team will be pivotal in ensuring these launches take place as planned to support the growth of the business.

This role reports to the Head of Global Supply Planning & Inventory and will collaborate with all regions Globally

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving supplier in-full performance and optimum product availability ensuring best in class service to customers

• Support the delivery of achieving all inventory targets

• Provide supply chain input for new product launches

• Apply best practice planning techniques to maximise material availability whilst minimising any excess or obsolete inventory

• Collaborate with the supply base with a true partner mentality

• Develop and coach team members to maximise their potential

About you

• Need to have 5-10 years supply chain experience including supplier management

• Preferably has similar industry experience

• Need to have led a good sized team previously

• Have a passion for improving processes tools and systems

• Able to work under pressure and respect deadlines
