Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in Seattle WA. This role works in a high volumeproduction-basedenvironment performing a vitalcomponentof clinical lab science.
**Pay Range: $21.27 - $32.09 per hour
All job offers will bebased on a candidates skills andpriorrelevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 21.
Work Schedule:M-F 6:30am-3:00pm

Job Responsibilities
Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
Replenish test bench supplies as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
2yearof relevant experience is
Prior knowledge of specimen acceptability is a plus
Comfortability with handling biological specimens
Ability to accuratelyidentifyspecimens
Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
High levelof attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work in afast pacedproduction environment and meet established turn-around times
Strong communicationskills; both written and verbal
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Must pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
