Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Pediatrics
Summary
Join a dedicated team in Fort Morgan Colorado caring for pediatric patients at a facility that focuses on quality and compassionate care. This pediatric locum position offers 24-hour call coverage from January 1-6 with opportunities for ongoing dates as per scheduling needs. The ideal candidate will be involved in inpatient care and newborn services ensuring the well-being of young patients in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM managing pediatric and newborn cases.
- Perform essential procedures including circumcision and neonatal resuscitation.
- Treat respiratory and infectious diseases in pediatric patients.
- Attend deliveries and C-sections as required in OR gear.
- Collaborate with medical staff on the management of pediatric patient care.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system effectively.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Pediatrics (Required)
- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC (Required)
- Active BLS Certification (Highly Preferred)
- Active DEA Certification (Highly Preferred)
- Understanding of EMR training requirements
- Availability for all open dates as listed
- Willingness to participate in Colorado Medicaid
- Clean malpractice/background record
License and Certification Requirements
- Must possess an Active Colorado Medical License or an Active IMLC.
- Active BLS and DEA certifications are highly preferred for credentialing purposes.
