Job Summary

Job Title: Locum Pediatric Physician in Fort Morgan CO

Summary:

Join a dedicated team in Fort Morgan Colorado where we are seeking locum Pediatric physicians for call coverage. This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM with an opportunity to contribute to a community-focused practice. The facility manages approximately 250 deliveries per year and provides care for newborns and pediatric cases emphasizing strong support for young patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour call coverage (7 AM to 7 AM) for pediatric patients.
Cater to inpatient pediatric care including newborns and circumcision procedures.
Manage respiratory and infectious diseases in young patients.
Attend all deliveries and c-sections as required in the medical setting.
Coordinate with staff and maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC EMR system.
Participate in CO Medicaid programs to prescribe medication.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Pediatrics (REQUIRED)
Active Colorado Medical License or Active IMLC (LOQ in hand at the time of submission) (REQUIRED)
Active BLS certification (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
Active DEA registration (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
Clean malpractice and background check (REQUIRED)
Willingness to participate in ongoing dates to provide continuous care (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

Current Colorado Medical License or Active IMLC.
BLS and DEA certifications are highly preferred and candidates must acknowledge their understanding of EMR training requirements.
